World Vision emergency food aid started in Sylhet

Under the financial support of the Hong Kong Government Special Administrative Region and the overall implementation of World Vision Bangladesh, under the emergency food aid for the victims of Sylhet and Sunamganj districts due to the terrible flood of the century, distribution of hygiene kits and meeting the urgent needs of 10,000 families for 15 days has started.
This distribution program was initiated at Safir Uddin High School and College premises in Jangail area of Kandigaon Union of Sylhet Sadar Upazila on Tuesday afternoon.
Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Nusrat Ajmeri Haque inaugurated it. World Vision Bangladesh Urban-Rural Cluster Deputy Director Monju Maria Palma, Kandigaon Union Parishad Chairman Md Abdul Manaf and Safir Uddin High School and College Principal Md Rashid Ahmad were present at this time.
20 kg of rice, 2 liters of vegetable oil, 2 kg of lentil, 2 kg of mung dal, 3 kg of gram dal, 1 kg of chira, half kg of salt, half kg of sugar, bucket, jerrycan, mug, bath soap, saline, Water Purification Tablets, Antiseptics, Detergent Powders, Sanitary Pads, Leaflets etc. are offered.
