Staff Reporter : Two individuals were arrested with 2,400 yaba tablets during an operation conducted by Zakiganj Police Station in Sylhet.
On Sunday (April 26) at around 8:45 PM, a team from the police station set up a checkpoint on the Sylhet–Zakiganj road in front of Beur Government Primary School in Khalachhara Union of the upozila.
At that time, Ali Ahmed (22, son of Sayeb Ali, from Duparipar, Zakiganj) and Nurul Amin (20, son of the late Alauddin, from Shatshaula, Zakiganj) were arrested along with the large quantity of drugs.
A case has been filed against them under the Narcotics Control Act at Zakiganj Police Station.
They were later produced before the court.
