The leaders of Sylhet Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry exchanged views with the leaders of Sylhet District Press Club.
The exchange of views meeting was held at the Sylhet District Press Club auditorium on Wednesday (October 22) afternoon.
The meeting discussed mutual cooperation between the two organizations, women’s economic development, the role of the media in creating entrepreneurs and potential sectors.
At the time, the speakers said that the media can play an important role in women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship development. In addition, it is possible to bring about positive changes in society by highlighting the activities of the chamber and the stories of successful women entrepreneurs.
At the meeting, the two organizations expressed their determination to work jointly in the future.
Sylhet Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Lubana Yasmin Shampa, Directors Saima Sultana Chowdhury, Rehana Afroz Khan, R F Shirin, Z F Limi Chowdhury, Tahmina Hasan Chowdhury and Asma ul Hasna Khan were present at the exchange of views.
