Staff Reporter: Sylhet District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun has excelled in suppressing crime and maintaining law and order in Sylhet range by solving the maximum number of cases in these 3 months from July to September this year.
He was declared the best in the quarterly crime review meeting held on Thursday, October 19 at 10 am. As a result, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun was awarded.
Sylhet Range DIG Shah Mizan Shafiur Rahman BPM (Bar), PPM-Service presided over the meeting held in the conference room of Sylhet Range DIG office. Other senior police officers were also present.
Sahidur Rahman, assistant superintendent of police of Goainghat circle, was nominated as the best circle of Sylhet range for his contribution in maintaining law and order and crime control from July to September in the review meeting.
TI (Administration) Md Rafiqul Islam Mridha was adjudged the best TI for his contribution in traffic management and traffic control.
Also, special award was given to SI Sohail Mahmud of Kanighat police station for contributing to solving the mystery of the unsolved case and special award to Constable Md Johny Chowdhury for his important contribution in collecting the MC and PM report of the investigating officers from Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital and assisting the treatment of policemen.
