Divisional Commissioner of Sylhet Division, Abu Ahmad Siddiqui, NDC, said many people die of chronic diseases due to smoking and use of tobacco products. So social movement against smoking should be organized.
He said this in the speech of the chief guest at a seminar organized by the divisional commissioner’s office in Sylhet.
The seminar was held on September 2 in the conference room of the Divisional Commissioner’s office.
Under the chairmanship of Additional Divisional Commissioner Debjit Singh and Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Mohammad Rokon Uddin, Zonal Settlement Officer Md Emran Hossain and Superintendent of Police of Sylhet Range DIG office Md Zedan Al Musa spoke as special guests.
