Cultural Reporter : 2nd National Painting Exhibition 2023 organized by Bangladesh Shishu Academy was held in Sylhet.
Shahjalal Science and Technology University Vice-Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the painting exhibition at Kabi Nazrul Auditorium premises at Rikabibazar in Sylhet city on Monday, January 29 at 11 am.
The day-long exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs.
Additional District Magistrate Imrul Hasan presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition and delivered the welcome speech by District Child Affairs Officer Saidur Rahman Bhuya. Sylhet Arts College Principal Painter Harold Rashid Chowdhury, Bangladesh Shishu Academy Central Office Assistant Director Laila Arjumand Banu and Nasreen Akhter and former president of Sylhet District Press Club Al Azad spoke as special guests.
Later the trainees of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Sylhet district branch performed a cultural program.
