Own Correspondent : Sylhet City Corporation is going to organize a colorful procession to congratulate and thank Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Planning Minister M A Mannan and Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen for approving a project worth Tk 1,459 crore for the development of Sylhet City Corporation.
On Sunday, November 12, at 11:30 am, the procession will start from Nagar Bhaban and end at Sylhet Central Shaheed Minar.
It is to be noted that this project titled ‘Integrated infrastructure construction including the extended area of Sylhet City Corporation’ was approved in the National Economic Committee Executive Council-ECNEC
meeting held at the NEC conference room of Sher-e Bangla Nagar in the capital on the afternoon of November 9 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Md Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury requested the citizens of the city to attend the procession.
