Special Correspondent, Habiganj: A young auto driver was killed in a collision between a truck and a CNG autorickshaw in Habiganj.
The accident took place on Thursday, October 12 at 10 am in the district town. The deceased youth Alauddin (25) is the son of Nurul Islam of Doakhani area of Baniachang Upazila Sadar. He was a CNG autorickshaw driver.
Confirming the matter, Habiganj Sadar Police Station Inspector Rafiqul Islam said that the police went to the spot and recovered the body after receiving information about the accident. Two cars involved in the accident were seized and taken to the police station.
He also said that Alauddin was going to Poddarbari CNG pump in the morning by autorickshaw. At that time, a sand-laden truck in reverse hit the auto-rickshaw. He died on the spot.
