Staff Reporter : The Rapid Action Battalion-RAB has recovered 50 kilograms of cannabis from Brahmanbaria.
Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-9, CPC-1, Brahmanbaria, conducted an extensive search around the Brahmanbaria–Kawtoli road in the Morail area of Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila at approximately 2:45 am on Thursday (28 May).
During the operation, the team recovered the cannabis from three white plastic sacks. However, no one connected to the drugs was found at the scene. An investigation is currently underway.
The recovered evidence has been handed over to Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station for further legal action.
