Staff Reporter : Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina is coming to Sylhet in the third week of next month to start the party’s campaign for the 12th National Assembly election.
A top leader of Sylhet district Awami League has indicated that.
He said that the election symbols will be allocated on December 18. Basically, the official campaign will start from this day. Therefore, if not that day, then the next day i.e. December 19, there is a high possibility that the Prime Minister will come to Sylhet. Of course, it may be after a day or two.
Like every time, Prime Minister will start the election campaign by visiting Hazrat Shahjalal (R), Hazrat Shahparan (R) and Hazrat Burhan Uddin (R) majar in Sylhet. She will address a public meeting of Awami League at the Govt Aliya Madrasa Maidan. Later She return to the capital.
