Under the project titled ‘Awareness Promotion Activities for Child, Adolescent and Women Development’ initiated by Moulvibazar District Information Office, an orientation workshop on typhoid vaccine was held at the district level with the financial support of UNICEF Bangladesh with young volunteers.
Moulvibazar Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Tanvir Ahmed was the chief guest at the workshop held at the Jatiya Mohila Sangstha auditorium on Thursday (September 25).
Moulvibazar District Information Officer Mohammad Anwar Hossain delivered the welcome speech at the workshop. Gazi Sharifa Yasmin, Deputy Director of the Department of Mass Communication, spoke virtually. Civil Surgeon (Acting) Dr Bornali Das, District Primary Education Officer Kishloy Chakraborty, Assistant Director (Family Planning) Chowdhury Rajib Mostafa and representatives of UNICEF and World Health Organization in Sylhet were also present.
