Derai Correspondent : Former MP from Sunamganj-2 constituency, BNP National Executive Committee member Nasir Uddin Chowdhury went to Bangkok for advanced treatment.
He left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10 am on Monday (October 6) on a US Bangla flight.
He is accompanied by his wife Parvin Chowdhury, two daughters Nazia Chowdhury and Nadia Chowdhury. Also present is Rudra Mizan, former joint secretary of Bangladesh Crime Reporters Association-CRAB, former Chhatra Dal leader.
Nasir Uddin Chowdhury can receive treatment in Bangkok for a month, according to his personal doctor.
On the eve of the journey, Nasir Uddin Chowdhury expressed hope that he will return to the country soon after the treatment and become more active in the political field in the area.
He also said that he will contest elections again from Derai-Shalla constituency.
