The 3rd International Conference for Sustainable Fisheries-ICSF is going to be held from September 5 to 7 at the initiative of the Faculty of Fisheries Science of Sylhet Agricultural University-SAU.
Fisheries and Livestock Advisor Farida Akhtar will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the conference tomorrow (September 5).
More than 250 scientific papers will be presented in 11 sessions at the conference. Teachers from domestic and foreign universities, researchers and scientists from research institutions will participate in it.
Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries Science of SAU, Professor Dr Nirmal Chandra Roy said that the international conference will create an opportunity for exchange of views on contemporary research activities of domestic and foreign researchers. As a result, along with helping in the innovation of sustainable technologies, domestic research will move forward.
More than five hundred researchers and scientists from different countries around the world, including Italy, Spain, Australia, Malaysia, China, India and Sri Lanka, in addition to Bangladesh, will participate in the conference. Press release
