Gold brought to Sylhet Osmani International Airport has been caught in a different way. However, the immediate amount was not known. One person has been arrested back in Dubai in this incident.
According to airport customs, Sarwar Hossain of Bijoynagar area of Brahmanbaria, a passenger who came from Abu Dhabi on a Bangladesh Biman flight at 01:30 pm on Thursday, was detained while crossing the Green Channel.
At first he denied bringing the gold; But after searching his body, jacket and underwear studded with melted gold, 2 gold bars and gold ornaments weighing 100 grams were seized.
