Jalalabad Liver Trust organized a free medical camp at Lakkatura tea garden in Sylhet.
The medical camp organized on Friday was supported by Rotary Club of Dhaka Generation Next and Rotary E-Club of Sylhet of 3282.
In this, the doctors of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital conducted free health check-up of more than five hundred patients and provided necessary medicines.
Earlier in the morning, Chairman of Jalalabad Liver Trust and Head of Interventional Hepatology Department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Professor Dr Mamun Al Mahtab Swapneel presented the keynote speech in an event presided over by Raju Gola, President of Sylhet Valley and Central Organizing Secretary of Tea Workers Union.
He expressed the hope of conducting more free medical camps for the welfare of tea workers in the tea gardens of Sylhet in the future.
At this time, Rotary E-Club of 3282 President Rotarian Tofail Ahmed Chowdhury and Past President Rotarian Syed Baharul Islam Ripon and Rotarian Faizul Bari of Rotary Club of Dhaka Generation Next were present. Press release
