Staff Reporter : Police from Zakiganj Police Station in Sylhet have arrested a drug dealer along with 5,000 yaba tablets.
On Friday (April 3), at around 9:45 AM, a team from Zakiganj Police Station conducted a operation on the Zakiganj–Sheola road in Pirnagar village under Birshree Union of the upazila.
During the operation, Md Abdul Wahid (29, son of Md Abdur Rahim, a resident of Kapna, Zakiganj, Sylhet) was arrested with the large quantity of yaba tablets.
A case has been filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act of 2018 at Zakiganj Police Station. He was later produced before the court following due procedure.
