Deputy Commissioner of Sunamganj Didare Alam Mohammad Maksud Chowdhury visited Shalla Upazila.
When the Deputy Commissioner arrived in Shalla, known as a backward town, on Monday, July 17, the administration officials greeted him with flowers.
After that, he visited Shalla Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s office, Gobind Chandra Government Girls High School, Upazila Health Complex and Bahara Union Parishad and inaugurated renovation works of Officers’ Club and Upazila Shilpakala Academy building.
The Deputy Commissioner gave a cow to one under the beggar rehabilitation program at the Upazila Social Service Office and planted a fruit tree sapling in the building premises of the Upazila Parishad.
