BNP was by the people in the past and will be in the future too

Sylhet District BNP President Abdul Qayum Chowdhury said, “We had promised to send off the fascist Awami League government. We were able to end that fascist rule through a united movement on the streets with the people.”
He said BNP had always stood by the people during national crises—floods, droughts, and even the Covid-19 pandemic—and would continue to do so in the future as well.
Qayum Chowdhury made these remarks during an exchange of views with leaders of the Upazila BNP and its affiliated organizations in Nurpur, Fenchuganj on Thursday (November 27) evening.
A special prayer was offered at the meeting seeking the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
Expressing his resolve to work door-to-door in the six constituencies of Sylhet to ensure the victory of the ‘Sheaf of Rice’ symbol in the next parliamentary elections, he said, “I will be in the field in any capacity—whether as an ordinary worker or as the president of the district BNP. I will remain fully engaged in implementing the outline presented before the nation by national leader Tarique Rahman.”
Calling upon party leaders and workers, Qayum Chowdhury added, “As in the past, your active participation in future party programs is essential. Our unity is our greatest strength in fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the people.”
The meeting was presided over by Fenchuganj Upazila BNP President Ohiduzzaman Sufi Chowdhury. Among others present were Upazila BNP Vice President Enayet Hossain Ruel, Rezaur Rahman Chowdhury Raju, Sadiqur Rahman Tipu, Shahed Member, Ataur Rahman Monai, Asadur Rahman Ruhel, Ruhul Amin, Saju Ahmed Khan, Zahirul Islam Tanim, Rasedul Hasan, Shahin Ahmed, Badrul Islam Khan, Dinar Ahmed Shah, Joypur Rahman Parvez, Sheikh Wes Ahmed, Russell, Rafi, Simon, Babar, Sujan, Rana, Rajan, and Ruhel Shahajan along with other leaders of BNP and allied organizations.
