Staff Reporter : A mobile court has conducted a drive against tillage in Golapganj Upazila of Sylhet and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand.
The drive was conducted for about an hour and a half from around 3 pm on Wednesday (September 3) in accordance with the Sand and Soil Management Act-2010.
Upazila Executive Officer Milton Chandra Paul issued this fine order against a person named Mortuza Hasan in Fulbari Dakshinpara village of Fulbari Union of the upazila. A team of police was present at the time.
