Staff Reporter: Rapid Action Battalion-RAB has arrested two people with about 37,500 pieces of Yaba in Golapganj upazila of Sylhet.
Based on a secret tip-off, an anti-drug operation was conducted in the upazila at around 3:15 pm on November 28 by a team of RAB-9, CPSC, Sylhet.
During the operation, 37,550 pieces of Yaba were recovered and Md Bulbul Ahmed Shobha Akhter were arrested.
In order to take further legal action, a case has been filed against the two arrested drug dealers under the relevant sections of the Narcotics Control Act and they have been handed over to the concerned police station along with the seized evidence. Source Press Note
