Correspondent from Madhyanagar : Under Kabita project (2023-24) in Madhyanagar upazila of Sunamganj, soil work has started to repair and reconstruct damaged dams to protect haor crops.
On Friday, December 15, at 11 am, Upazila executive officer Atish Darshi Chakma inaugurated PIC No. 2 Jamsherpur area of Ghoradoba Haor sub-project of the upazila.
Member Secretary of Madhyanagar Upazila Kabita Project Implementation and Monitoring Committee Noor Alam, No. 2 PIC President Farmer Bikash Chandra Sarkar, Member Secretary Suresh Sarkar, Journalist Representative M A Mannan, Atiqur Rahman Farooqui, Imam Abul Hasan Akhanji, Gopesh Bagh founder Gopesh Sarkar and Farmer Palash Sarkar were present at this time.
Upazila Executive Officer Atish Darshi Chakma directed to complete the dam work within the stipulated time.
