Sylhet District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun said that those who create chaos in the Puja celebration will be severely suppressed.
He gave this warning while addressing the security coordination meeting organized by the Sylhet District Police on the occasion of upcoming Autumn Durga Puja celebrations on Wednesday, October 4.
The Superintendent of Police presided over the meeting held at the police lines of the district. Leaders of Bangladesh Puja Udjapon Parishad, Bangladesh Hindu, Buddhist, Christian Oikkya Parishad and Upazila Puja Udjapon Committee and representatives of Civil Surgeon, various intelligence agencies, RAB-9, BGB, Ansar, Fire Service and PDB were present.
The members present at the security coordination meeting expressed their commitment to work in coordination with all departments focusing on the Puja celebration.
