Bangladesh Police Inspector General-IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun said that under the right direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, all units of Bangladesh Police are now very strong. The police is always aware of the welfare of the country and people.
He also said that as the country moves forward with digital speed, the overall activities of Bangladesh Police is also moving forward.
The IGP was speaking to reporters after inaugurating the newly constructed studio apartment building of Sunamganj’s Shalla police station and visiting the police station’s mosque on Friday morning.
The IGP landed at Shahid Ali Model High School playground of Shalla Upazila Sadar at 10 am by helicopter.
After that, a smart team of police gave him a guard of honor in the premises of the police station.
Sylhet Range DIG Mofiz Uddin Ahmed, Sunamganj Deputy Commissioner Didare Alam Maqsud Chowdhury, Superintendent of Police Ehsan Shah, Upazila Parishad Chairman Al Amin Chowdhury and Upazila Executive Officer Abu Taleb along with top officials and public representatives of the department, district and upazila levels were present.
IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun went to Srihail of his village by helicopter at 12 noon.
