Ten dengue patients have been identified in the Sylhet division in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of dengue patients in the division has surpassed 100 in November.
According to data from the Sylhet Health Department, a total of 102 dengue patients were detected between November 1 and November 18.
Currently, 14 patients are admitted to various hospitals across the Sylhet division due to dengue. Among them, the highest number—5 patients—are receiving treatment at the Kulaura Upazila Health Complex in Moulvibazar. Additionally: 2 patients are admitted to the 250-bed District Sadar Hospital in Moulvibazar, 1 patient at the Barolekha Upazila Health Complex, 2 patients at the 250-bed District Sadar Hospital in Habiganj and 2 patients at the Lakhai Upazila Health Complex. 2 patients at Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
Health Department data shows that since January this year, 417 dengue cases have been recorded in the Sylhet division. Of these, 222 cases were reported in Habiganj, 73 in Sylhet, 63 in Moulvibazar, and 59 in Sunamganj.
