Staff Reporter: Rapid Action Battalion-RAB 9 has recovered nine air guns from Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar.
On Sunday (December 21), an operational team of RAB-9, CPC-2, Moulvibazar, recovered the air guns at around 12:15 am. The weapons were found wrapped in jute bags inside bushes beside an abandoned house in the Purba Jalalpur area of Adampur Union of the upazila.
RAB officials believe the recovered air guns could have been intended for sabotage.
The seized items have been handed over to Kamalganj Police Station for further legal action.
Earlier, on Friday midnight, RAB-9 recovered 2 air guns and 110 air gun pellets from an Akashmoni tree plantation in the same area of the upazila..
